Reward Increased To $4K In Racist Graffiti Incident In Naperville
Naperville Crime Stoppers increased their reward to $2,500 and private donors added $1,500 for information that leads to an arrest.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The reward has been increased to $4,000 for information that leads to an arrest after the phrase "white pride" and gang-related symbols were found spray painted on a partition in Cantore Park in Naperville. Naperville Crime Stoppers increased the initial reward to $2,500 and private donors have added $1,500 to that amount, according to Naperville Crime Stoppers.
Police say the racist graffiti was written on the partition, which is between Cantore Park and Welch Elementary School, sometime between 7 a.m. on May 24 and 7 a.m. on May 25. Graffiti was also found on supply boxes for the park's baseball field.
Naperville Police Chief Robert Marshall said in a statement, "We are actively investigating the defacement of this property, which is a crime. Spray painting phrases like 'White Pride,' gang symbols, and other inappropriate phrases is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Cases like these are often solved when the community and the police work together to identify those responsible. I am confident with this cooperation we will identify the person(s) who committed this crime and hold them accountable.”
