Ghost Stories in the Park Oct. 5-7

Naperville Park District event to feature local talent

Audiences ages 5 and up are invited to the Naperville Park District’s Ghost Stories in Park…In the Dark event at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion the weekend of October 5-7 featuring talented, local storytellers from the Summer Place Theatre.

Ghost Stories in the Park…In the Dark is an outdoor event and a Naperville tradition, entertaining audiences with scary stories and a dose of humor. Hot cider, ectoplasm punch and cookies will be served. Tickets are $7 at the door or may be purchased online at www.napervilleparks.org until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5. The Riverwalk Grand Pavilion is located at 912 Sindt Court.

  • Friday, Oct. 5 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 6 at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m.

Don Gingold, storyteller and president of the Summer Place Theatre, will MC the event. Storytellers will include those from past years and several who participated in the 2018 Ghost Story-Telling Workshop. The cast of storytellers throughout the weekend is:
