GoFundMe Launched For Family Of Man Killed In Naperville Crash

Jaelen Morain, 27, of Aurora was an army veteran, a husband and a father to an 8-month-old girl, the fundraiser explains.

AURORA, IL — A GoFundMe page has been launched to raise funds for the family of Jaelen Morain, 27, the Aurora man who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Naperville Saturday. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Morain leaves behind his wife, Jocelyn and their 8-month-old daughter, Charlotte, the fundraiser explains.

Morain was "a funny, considerate, and lovable person," his friend Matt wrote in the GoFundMe description, remembering him as "[o]ne of the best guys I have ever had the privilege to know." Proceeds from the fundraiser will help cover funeral expenses for Morain, in addition to helping his family with other costs, Matt wrote.

The single-vehicle crash that claimed Morain's life took place just after 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of 91st Street and Normantown Road. A second person who was on the motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the crash.
