Gregory MS Staff Volunteer to Raise Funds at McDonald's

Gregory MS Teachers and Administration Hold Their First McTeacher's Night

Naperville| Gregory Middle School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support raising money for the IPEF foundation and race.

Teachers and support staff from Gregory volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, at the Naperville McDonald's on Rt. 59, where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.

This was Gregory Middle Schools first McTeacher's Night and they did a fantastic job raising funds and making memories for students, families and the Gregory staff that came out to support this FUNdraising event.

Special Education Interventionist, Lauri Bruder, and Principal, Leslie Mitchell each wore the Apple Pie Costume. Lauri Bruder also helped to sell the pies along with Tony Wesolowski, Special Education Teacher. While the other staff member worked various job throughout the restaurant during this three-hour fundraising event.

Gregory MS Mascot, Pioneer made a special appearance during the event and the kids loved getting their pictures taken with him.

The proceeds from the Apple Pies sold went directly to benefit IPEF foundation and the Gregory teachers running the 5K and Half Marathon. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to the school and will be used towards the Foundation.

Nick Kory, Owner-Operator of the Naperville McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.
