Guest Claims Owners' Pit Bull Mix Attacked and Bit His Hand in Lawsuit
Two Naperville dog owners are in the dog house after friend sues them over dog attack, lawsuit alleges.

A man is suing two Naperville dog owners on grounds that their pit bull mix attacked him while visiting their home.
Scott Robertson filed a lawsuit in DuPage County Circuit Court on Sept. 15, against Charlene and Scott Gongorek.
According to the complaint, Robertson was an invited guest on Oct. 3, 2013, when without provocation, the Gongoreks’ dog “viciously attacked and bit” his hand.

The lawsuit maintains that the defendants should have known that the dog had a dangerous and vicious propensity. The plaintiff alleges that the Gongoreks also failed to monitor, crate or leash the dog.
As a result, the plaintiff claims to have suffered injuries and lost money.
