Health Inspection Report: Indian Harvest

Is it clean enough for you?

NAPERVILLE, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The DuPage County Health Department visited Indian Harvest June 21 for a routine inspection.
Items out of compliance were:

  • Lassi inside cold holding unit 52F. All cold potentially hazardous foods must be kept at 41F or less.
  • Observed employee in dish room not wash hands in between handling dirty and clean dishes. Hands must be washed for 20 seconds with soap and dried with a dispensable paper towel.
  • Observed no labels on items inside walk in cooler. Provide.
  • Cutting boards stored on floor. Wash, rinse, and sanitize cutting boards and relocate all clean equipment at least six inches from the ground to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
  • Soiled wiping cloths being stored on prep counters at cook line.

The restaurant received a demerit score of 25. Demerit scores start at zero and increase as violations are observed. This is the sum of the weight (Wt) of each item marked.
