Hispanic Heritage Festival Returns To Naperville
Naperville's Hispanic Heritage Festival will mark its third year on Sept. 16 at Central Park.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Mariachi music, authentic cuisine, family-friendly activities and other festivities will fill Central Park for the 3rd Naperville Hispanic Heritage Festival. The event, which coincides with Hispanic Heritage Month, is set for Sept. 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Before the festival officially kicks off, visitors can browse a marketplace that opens at 5 p.m., with vendors selling crafts and artisanal items inspired by Hispanic art and culture.
Rena Calabrese will serve at the emcee for the Hispanic Heritage Festival's entertainment, which includes performances by the Illinois-based Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl and Mariachi los Galivanes.

Food will be a big draw at this year's festival once again, where vendors will serve up elotes, chocolate-drenched dessert tacos and other delights.
DuPage Hispanic Alliance will have a dedicated area with arts and crafts that will allow kids to express their creativity and learn more about Hispanic culture.
