HIV-Infected Needle Used to Steal Drugs from Naperville Pharmacy

The robbery occurred Tuesday morning.

NAPERVILLE, IL — An HIV-infected needle was used to steal drugs from a Naperville pharmacy Tuesday morning.

Police responded to CVS at 1299 east Ogden Avenue at around 5:57 a.m. for a report of a robbery in progress.

When confronted, the perpetrators, who had left prior to police arrival, allegedly threatened store employees with a hypodermic needle they claimed was infected with HIV, according to the Naperville Police Department. They got away with numerous medications from the business.

Police are looking for an Asian man and a white woman. The man is around 50 years old with dark hair and dark clothing. The woman is around 40 years old with dark hair and dark clothing.
