How To Pay Respects To Late Naperville Mayor George Pradel

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville residents can pay their respects to a man who shaped so much of the city at a public visitation for former Mayor George Pradel. Visitation of the late mayor, who died Tuesday at age 80, is planned for Saturday and Sunday at Naperville's City Hall.

The family has planned a private funeral and interment for Pradel, who served as mayor of the city for two decades. The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the weekend.

What: Public Visitation for George Pradel

When: Sept. 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Naperville City Hall, 400 S. Eagle St.

In lieu of flowers, the Pradel family has requested that donations be made to the Arthur Ray Foundation, which will ensure that funds are given to some of Pradel's beloved causes.
