Full of cheese? I get it. If you've been scrolling newsfeed over a bucket of cheese, you might be thinking about your upcoming wellness journey.

Year after year, people resolve to change into a new version of themselves. Year after year, they fail. I've successfully met my resolution for several years now. What's the secret? Read on!

This year, I'm excited to announce that I've met my 2024 New Year's resolution. Let's face it...old habits die hard. Instead of attempting to reinvent myself, I set an intention to take my nightly shower by 8:30pm. Not impressed? See what a big difference this little habit made.

Here's what happened...

I slept better without the pollen of the day in my hair. I woke a little more spry since I slept better. I developed an evening routine that signaled to my brain it was time to wind down. Most nights I even managed to get eight hours of sleep. On the days I didn't, I was a bit more gentle with myself. I ate a little better because I wasn't craving carbs just to crawl through the day exhausted. I blogged. I did some yoga. I played in the arts. It was a good year. I resolved to change one small habit...and did. I even found some time to do a photoshoot of Barbie doing Yoga. Go see the show at Sweetwaters in Downtown Naperville! Let me tell ya, success feels good.

So, I've told you quite a bit about what I did in 2024. What did you do? Write it down. Keep it simple. Most of all, celebrate your small wins. Set reasonable goals that feel good. Invite some grace for yourself when you don't meet them as soon as you had hoped. Cheer yourself on and keep it realistic. Need some guidance in your journey? Hit me up via CHAT at edgeyogaschool.com to join one of our manifestation workshops. All are welcome, and YOU are invited!

I'm rooting for you!
