Just 2 More Foster Homes Needed for THIS Saturday 7/8
Will you help us bring these 2 to Safety?
It’s Summer….and that means our shelter partners overflowing with unwanted dogs and puppies!
Safe Haven Dog Rescue does not have a physical location and the dogs in our program rely upon the generosity of families that open their homes to provide a temporary Safe Haven. We can only save as many dogs as we have foster homes. Every week we have to turn away hundreds of requests to accept dogs into our adoption program.
These dogs have the chance to come to Illinois on SATURDAY, July 8TH, but we need 2 more committed foster homes to make that happen.
Judge - 5 yrs old, 58 lbs, but needs to gain weight.
Great pyr/german shep mix
A favorite of the volunteers at the shelter. Good with other dogs and loves people
Miss Demeanor - 1-2 yr old Female Pitty Mix
This gorgeous female pitty mix, Miss Demeanor , is hoping that someone will step up to be her foster family here in IL. Miss D is currently living in a high kill shelter in a county where pit bulls are illegal to be owned. Unfortunately for her, that means that her only chance at life is to be brought to rescue! Miss D is a small girl, much smaller than her pictures make her look. She would like to come with her brother "Felon" who already has a foster home. She is a beautiful girl and is very sweet. She plays well with other dogs and loves all of the humans she meets. We would hate to leave her behind!
