Lisle-Woodridge Fire District earns Edward's "Run of the Quarter" award
Paramedics were recognized for their treatment of a Woodridge man who was having a heart attack.

Edward Hospital’s EMS (Emergency Medical Services) “Run of the Quarter” for April-June has been awarded to Lisle-Woodridge Fire District, Station 52, Black Shift paramedics Neil Berkowitz, Tim Broniewicz, Clifford May, Matthew Mieszala and Scott Rubo.
The team was recognized for their treatment in June of a Woodridge man who was having a heart attack. The paramedics used CPR and a variety of other methods to treat the patient before and during transport to Edward Hospital for further care in the Emergency Department and Cardiac Cath Lab.
In the “Run of the Quarter” program, the Edward EMS Team reviews ambulance runs by pre-hospital providers and selects one to be recognized every three months based on the following criteria:
