Local "Mamma Mia!" Production Amped up by Choreographer/Director

Chicago-area choreographer Samantha Sieghart is doing double duty on her newest project: choreographing and directing Mamma Mia! at Summer Place Theatre. Ever since the popular musical was released to local theatre availability last year, many groups have jumped at the chance to perform it. Sieghart promises audiences will love Summer Place's version.

“Since I am a choreographer by trade, our production is more dance heavy than others, and has extremely difficult and upbeat choreography.” She says she “can’t give away too many secrets,” but this Mamma Mia! “will be unlike the others you will see this year.”

Mamma Mia! runs Fridays and Saturdays July 19 through August 3, Fridays at 7:30 and Saturdays at both 2pm and 7:30. Tickets are on sale now at summerplacetheatre.org/tickets.
