Suburban Restaurant Named Among Most Romantic in U.S. By OpenTable

NAPERVILLE, IL — A local restaurant recently made OpenTable's 2023 roundup of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in the U.S., just ahead of Valentine's Day.

Meson Sabika, which has been a beloved Naperville dining spot and wedding venue for more than three decades, was one of just four restaurants in Illinois to make OpenTable's list, which was compiled by average diner reviews.

The tapas restaurant makes its home in a pillared mansion that was built in 1847. Decked out with crystal chandeliers and rich wood accents, the dining area at Meson Sabika lends itself to an intimate date night.

Meson Sabika's menu features an array of hot and cold tapas, including tuna-stuffed canneloni, house-cured salmon, skewers of grilled beef tenderloin and New Zealand lamb shank. Diners can pair their meals with a drink from the bar's extensive wine list.

On OpenTable, Meson Sabika garnered 9,451 reviews, with an average of 4.5 stars. OpenTable's 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America in 2023 was compiled from an analysis of 13 million diner reviews, per the website.
