Man Accused Of Stealing Over 3K In Liquor During Naperville Burglaries

Police say Kwan McNeal, 21, of Chicago, broke into a convenience store on Fairview on two separate occasions.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Chicago man faces felony charges after police say he stole thousands of dollars worth of liquor during two separate burglaries at the same convenience store in Naperville.

Kwan McNeal, 21, of the 4600 block of West Adams Street, has been charged with burglary and retail theft in connection with the incidents.

Police were called to a store in the 500 block of Fairview Avenue just after 2:45 p.m. on June 5 for a report of a burglary. On June 8, a second burglary was reported at the same location just before 9 p.m.

During both burglaries, several bottles of liquor were stolen. The total loss was estimated at more than $3,200.

McNeal was taken into custody on June 14.
