Man Burglarized Liquor Store In Naperville: Cops
Police say Matt Karl, 23, of Lisle, smashed a window to get into Malloy's Finest Wine and Spirits Saturday morning.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police have charged one man in connection with a burglary that took place at Malloy's Finest Wine and Spirits early Saturday. Police say Matt Karl, 23, of Lisle, smashed a window to gain entry to the store at 1175 E. Ogden Ave. just before 9:30 a.m.
Once inside, police say, Karl took "cigarettes and liquor." He was arrested Monday after an ongoing investigation into the burglary.
In a statement, Naperville Police Chief Robert Marshall said, "We were able to solve this investigation expeditiously because of the thorough response by the initial responding officers, and I would like to thank them for their dedication and hard work to bring this case to a close."

Karl is currently being held in DuPage County Jail on $2,000 bond. He is set to appear in court again on Jan. 23.
