Man Charged With Pointing Gun In Naperville Road Rage Incident
Police were called to the scene for a report of a man driving erratically near 75th and Route 59.

NAPERVILLE, IL --- A Naperville man faces charges after police say he pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage incident Tuesday. George Weiland, 54, of the 3800 block of Cadella Circle, has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in connection with the incident, police say.
According to a police summary and Naperville Police Department Commander Mike Son, Weiland was driving near 75th and Route 59 around 2 p.m. when police received a call that he was driving "erratically" and was involved in a road rage incident. Son said, "Another driver and his passenger alleged that Weiland pointed a firearm at them at some point during this incident."
Weiland was later arrested and charged, Son said.
