Man Charged With Sexually Abusing 2nd Minor At Naperville Hotel

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Chicago man who was charged with having sex with a minor at a Naperville hotel has been charged with having sex with another minor at the same hotel. Police arrested Gabriel D. Melendez-Morales, 27, of Chicago, on Jan. 6 after an investigation led to two additional counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Melendez-Morales was first arrested on Dec. 30 on charges that he had sex with a minor at a motel in the 1500 block of Naperville Road on Dec. 7 and Dec. 16. Police say an investigation led them to discover that Melendez-Morales had sex with another minor in the same location on Dec. 7.

According to police, Melendez-Morales met both of the minors on social media. Naperville police are currently conducting an investigation to determine if there are any additional victims who have not been identified.
