Man Claims Naperville Walmart Gave Him Wrong Prescription: LAWSUIT
Lawsuit says man's eye condition worsened as a result of using incorrect prescription.

A man is suing Walmart over claims that the store’s pharmacy gave him the wrong prescription for an eye condition.
Boniface Mayer filed a lawsuit in DuPage County Circuit Court against Walmart Stores Inc. at 716 S. Rt. 59 in Naperville.
According to the complaint, Mayer was under the care of a Wheaton doctor, who provided a prescription for Simbrinza, a medication used to relieve pressure from glaucoma in September 2013.

Mayer alleges that the store’s pharmacy department gave him a different, incorrect prescription for cyclopentolate hydrochloride ophthalmic solution.
By using the wrong prescription provide to him by Walmart, Mayer says he developed other maladies, including the worsening of peripheral vision in his right eye. The blurred vision in his left eye also worsened.

Mayer is asking for damages exceeding $50,000 on charges that Walmart was negligent and breached its duty of care to the patient.
