Man Gets 18 Years For 2017 Naperville Armed Robbery
Police say Willie Booker, 23, is one of three men who robbed a Speedway at gunpoint in 2017.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Streamwood man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to an armed robbery that took place in Naperville in 2017. Willie Booker, 23, was sentenced Thursday morning. His co-defendant, Robert Hill, 20, of Carol Stream, also pleaded guilty and is set to be sentenced Friday.
Authorities say that on Oct. 15, 2017, Booker and Hill, along with another man came into the Speedway at 631 N. Rte. 59 wearing masks and gloves. Once inside, Booker pointed a gun to a victim and took his cellphone.
Court records say Booker then pointed the gun at the back of the victim's head and told him to open the register. After a bit, Booker accused the victim of "stalling" and hit the victim on the back of the head with the gun before locking him in a back room.

Police arrested Booker and Hill on Oct. 15 after an investigation, but have not identified the third suspect.
In a statement, DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said, "Just over two years ago, Mr. Booker and Mr. Hill concealed their identities, armed themselves, threatened a gas station clerk at gunpoint and robbed a Naperville gas station. This afternoon, Mr. Booker learned that for his crime he will spend a significant amount of time behind bars where he will be unable to again terrorize an innocent man just trying to make a living."
