Man 'Implied' He Was Armed, Robbed Online Seller In Naperville
Police say no weapon was displayed and no one was injured.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- Anonline arrangement to meet in person to purchase a item "of high value" ended in an aggravated robbery in Naperville Thursday. The robbery took place after the victim met with the suspect in a parking lot near Naperville/Wheaton Road and Ridgeland Avenue around 11:13 pm.
The victim told police that the suspect "implied" that he had a weapon and then snatched the item and fled no foot. Police say no weapon was actually displayed during the robbery and the victim was not injured.
In a press release, police reminded residents that the Naperville Police Department's lobby serves as a place to ensure safe online transactions. The lobby is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
