Man Sentenced to Prison for Pizza Delivery Driver Robbery

Two pizzas and $68 were stolen from the driver.

A man arrested in connection with the robbery of a pizza delivery driver has been sentenced to prison.

Steven D. Gaines, 21, was sentenced to three years in prison for his role in the robbery, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Gaines was one of two men arrested in connection with the robbery that occurred at around 5:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14 on the 1600 block of Coach Drive. The men allegedly stole $68 and two pizzas from the driver.

According to a past release from the department, Austin P. Brown, 19, of Naperville and Gaines, also of Naperville, were each charged with one count of robbery, a class 2 felony and one count of obstructing identification, a class a misdemeanor.

After an investigation, officers arrested Brown and Gaines Saturday, Aug. 15.
