Man Tries To Grab Kid From Back Seat In Naperville

Police say this sketch resembles the man who tried to abduct a child from inside a mother's car.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Parents in Naperville were on high alert Saturday after an attempted child abduction was reported at Rotary Hill late Friday. The child’s mother told police that she was sitting in the driver’s seat of her car when a man reached into the vehicle and try to pull her child from the back seat.

Police say the man was unable to get the child out of the car. He then fled northbound on foot.

According to police, the mother and child were uninjured.

The suspect has been described as a clean shaven white male in his 20s with blond hair and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and gray shorts
