Masked Armed Robbers At Large, Employee Hurt In Naperville Stickup

Three men held up a Route 59 business late Sunday.

NAPERVILLE, IL — An employee at a business in the 600 block of north Route 59 suffered a minor injury when three masked men held up the business at gunpoint late Sunday. Naperville police said officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at 11:26 p.m. after three suspects stole cash, cigarettes, keys and a cellphone before fleeing on foot. One suspect showed a silver and black semi-automatic handgun during the robbery, police said.

Police conducted a search for the suspects but came up empty.

The gun-wielding suspect is described as a black male between 5'9" and 6' with a heavy build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with lettering on the front, pajama-style pants with a pattern on them, white shoes and a black mask.

Police said the second suspect was a 6'2" to 6'5" black male with a thin build wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a white stripe going down the side, white shoes and a white plastic mask. The third suspect is a 6'1" to 6'3" black male with a heavy build wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the shoulders, black pants and tan shoes.

Police said the employee suffered a minor injury that did not require medical attention.
