Mason Needs a Foster Home THIS Saturday 3/3/18!

Mason is a Male Hound mix, estimated to be 2-3 years old.
If you look at his pictures, you can see why our shelter partner in Tennessee has asked us to help him. He was found cold, wet, and SERIOUSLY underweight. You can see his ribs, his hip bones, and his spine can be seen clearly. He is still gorgeous even in his pitiful, neglected state!

He was so cold when he was brought to the shelter that he curled up in his kennel and let the volunteers tuck him in. Can you imagine a dog so cold and underfed that he is happy to be in the shelter? The shelter tells us that he is very, very calm and grateful for even the littlest bit of attention.

Safe Haven Dog Rescue pays for all vetting (done locally in Geneva, South Elgin, Wheaton, Naperville and Elmhurst) and provides you with a crate, collar, leash, food, treats, toys, and more while you foster. Our fosters also have the first option to adopt if interested.
