Waubonsie Valley Wins Against Metea Valley in First Round of Playoffs

Waubonsie Valley won 21-14 against Metea Valley in the first round of the Class 8A playoffs on Saturday.

Waubonsie Valley (9-1), a No. 1 seed, will now take on Naperville Central (8-2), a No. 4 seed, in the second round of the playoffs. The time and location for the game has yet to be announced.

Metea Valley (5-4), a No. 8 seed, will play Waubonside Valley (8-1), a No. 1 seed, in the first round of the 8A Illinois High School Association (IHSA) playoffs. The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. Saturday at Waubonse Valley (map).
