Missing Naperville Man Found Safe: Police

Naperville Police say the man has been found safe.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- Police in Naperville say an elderly man who went missing ahead of a possible winter storm Monday has been found safe. Naperville Police Department spokesperson confirmed via email Monday afternoon that the missing man had been located.

The man, 70, had been reported missing Monday afternoon and was last seen on foot in North Aurora near Route 59, according to a news release.

The missing person, who answers to the name "Steve," was described as a 70-year-old white male who stands 5'11" tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark green coat, a blue sweater, and blue jeans.
