Naper Nights To Close Season With Woodstock, Santana Tribute
The final two concerts are planned for Aug. 16 and 17.
NAPERVILLE, IL -- The final days of the 2019 Naper Nights concert series plan to celebrate Naperville Heritage Society's 50th anniversary, in part, by honoring another important 50th anniversary: Woodstock's. The final two shows of the season, set for Aug. 16 and 17, will feature bands covering songs by Jefferson Airplane, Santana, and more.
On Aug. 16, Soundtracks of a Generation will get the crowd dancing with the music of Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Jefferson Airplane, and Sly and the Family Stone. The lineup for Aug. 17 will highlight hits by Santana with a performance by cover band Rico, followed by more tribute music performed by The THE BAND Band.
During the show, grownups can sample the newest brew from Bell's, Official or sip wine from Rodney Strong Vineyards. There will also be a variety of snacks sold by local eateries throughout the weekend, including bites from Billy Brick's Wood Fired Pizza and Fat Rosies.
