Naperville 2018 “Your Concert, Your Park, Your Choice” Winners

The results of the “Your Concert, Your Park, Your Choice” online contest are in. Between January 18 and 28 Naperville residents cast 1,604 votes for preferred locations and styles of music for the 2018 summer concert series, Concerts in Your Park. The winning parks include two from each region of the Naperville Park District: north, central and south. The 2018 Concerts in Your Parks locations and concert dates are as follows:

North Parks:

• Queensbury Greens, 1520 Brookdale Road – June 10
• Arrowhead Park, 711 Iroquois Ave. – July 15

Central Parks:

• Gartner Park, 524 W. Gartner Road – June 24
• Walnut Ridge Park, 2304 Keim Road – July 22

South Parks:

• Ashbury Park, 1740 Conan Doyle Road – July 8
• Tall Grass Park, 3512 Grassmere Road – July 29

“We were pleased to see so many residents vote this year to help choose the locations for the concerts,” said Program Manager Brittany Malatt.

Bands for each of the locations will be announced in the Summer Program Guide, which will be available online at www.napervilleparks.org on April 23 and mailed to Naperville residents beginning April 25.
