Naperville City Council To Workshop Comprehensive Master Plan
Residents are welcome to attend the June 24 workshop to review potential projects and share their feedback.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville City Council will discuss proposed updates to its Comprehensive Master Plan on June 24. The current comprehensive plan, which provides guidance for the city's growth and development, was initially drafted and adopted in 1960 and is in need of updates, according to the meeting agenda.
To draft a new plan, Naperville has hired Houseal Lavigne Associates, a consulting firm that focuses on community planning. City officials say the updated plan will "reflect current development and demographic conditions in Naperville while identifying future trends and opportunities."
At the June 24 workshop, Houseal Lavigne Associates will present an overview of the comprehensive plan, its intended updates, and the scope of the work that will be involved.
