Naperville Cops Investigate False Shooting, Armed Suspect Report

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Police are investigating a false report of a shooting with a suspect still armed. The incident took place at approximately 5 p.m. Thursday at a home on Arcadia Circle, according to Commander Lou Cammiso.

After responding to the scene, police quickly discovered that the report was "not bona fide," Cammiso told Patch in an email. Cammiso said investigators are working to determine the origin of the phone call.
