Naperville Cops Urge Caution After Multiple Home Burglaries
The alert comes shortly after a home invasion was reported in Naperville.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville cops are reminding residents to keep their homes and cars locked after a rash of burglaries has hit the northern part of the city. Police sent out an alert early Thursday saying suspects were entering homes via patio and garage doors that had been left unlocked.
"It is extremely important for residents to be vigilant in their neighborhoods and report any suspicious activity to police by calling 9-1-1," police said.
Residents are reminded to keep their garages, homes, patios, window and cars locked at all times, especially during the night. Homeowners can also install additional lighting or security lighting to help discourage burglaries.
