NAPERVILLE, IL — When 10-year-old Jane Temple's mother's garden started overflowing with plant life during the new coronavirus shutdown, Jane's mind started overflowing with ideas of how to give back to her community. Jane, who lives in Naperville, started making handmade flower baskets and selling them to benefit local businesses throughout Naperville.

Jane said she started out making the baskets for fun, but decided to donate the money after "lots of people wanted to buy them." The baskets are filled with colorful flowers and decorative, whimsical statues that match the color scheme of the flowers.
