Naperville Jaycees Donate More Than $5K to Organizations

Recipients include Youth Outlook, Western DuPage Special Recreation Association Foundation and Literacy DuPage, among others.

The Naperville Jaycees have donated a total of $5,623.71 to local organizations for the month of October 2015.

The Naperville Jaycees year-round fundraising efforts provide funds to donate to the community. This year the Naperville Jaycees have been researching and donating to deserving local organizations to award monthly grants from April through December 2015.

They are proud to announce the June donation amount of $5,623.71. This was comprised of several smaller donations to different impactful Naperville area not-for-profits. These local organizations are making huge strides to help several important aspects in the community and were recognized for those efforts by the Naperville Jaycees.

The recipients include: Youth Outlook $1,000, Western DuPage Special Recreation Association Foundation $1,250, Literacy DuPage $1,873.71, DuPage Cure SMA $1,000 and Community Career Center $500.00.

The October donations are in addition to several other donations made in 2015, bringing the total to $32,073.43 that has been given to 22 amazing organizations doing great work in the community.

In addition to the monetary donations, the Naperville Jaycees are continually finding ways to give back thru volunteerism and community outreach.
