Naperville Man Arrested, Charged With Robbing Nail Salon
He brandished a handgun, stole an undisclosed amount of money, stole a victim's SUV and fled.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- A Naperville man was arrested by Naperville police for the March 25 armed robbery of the U.S. Nail Salon. The Naperville Police Department released a statement on Wednesday describing the crime and the man's charges.
Rio Franklin, 25, of Naperville, robbed the U.S. Nail Salon in the 900 block of East Ogden Avenue, according to the statement. Allegedly, he displayed a semi-automatic handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money and a victims vehicle, a 2004 black Volvo SUV.
Franklin was charged with armed robbery, a class X felony, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, a class 2 felony, and four counts of aggravated unlawful restraint, a class 3 felony.

Naperville Police are still investigating the suspect for possible connections to other area crimes. In the statement, they noted that Franklin is presumed innocent of these crimes until proven guilty in a court of law.
