Naperville Man Charged With Identity Theft, Forgery: Cops

Police arrested Brenton C. Thurman II, 27, in connection with an ongoing fraud investigation.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a lengthy fraud investigation. Brenton C. Thurman II, 27, of the first block of Olesen Dr., was charged with felony counts of identity theft, forgery and altering credit cards, police says.

According to police, the lengthy investigation explored "numerous incidents of credit card fraud, identity theft, and forgery allegedly committed by Thurman. On Wednesday, "Naperville Police were joined by members of the U.S. Secret Service and the Lisle Police Department to execute a search warrant of Thurman's home that led to the arrest, police say.

Thurman is currently being held at DuPage County Jail
