Naperville's Prairie Path Panty Man Guilty Of Self-Pleasure

Panty pleasure fetish: Police say they witnessed the man "pleasuring himself" on a park trail via surveillance footage.

NAPERVILLE, IL --- A Naperville man who put out women's panties and lewd photos on Illinois Prairie Path as part of an "experiment" has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct. William Winnie, 68, was initially set to stand trial for the crime, but reached a last-minute plea agreement Wednesday, Chicago Tribune reports.

Winnie was arrested in December after he reportedly placed plastic bags filled with women's underwear near a bridge in Pratt's Wayne Woods northwest of Carol Stream. Police said Winnie would sometimes put lewd pictures inside the plastic bags as well in what he told police was part of an "experiment."

After receiving multiple reports about the packages in October 2017, police found a resealable bag containing women's underwear and a photo with the words "Is she not as gorgeous a woman as you will ever see? [...] Enjoy." written on the back of it.

Police left the package on the trail and set up a camera to see if Winnie would come back to it. Police say subsequent camera footage shows Winnie returning to the package and pleasuring himself on the trail.

On Dec. 2, police reportedly saw Winnie on the camera footage and took him into custody without incident.

At one point, Winnie reportedly told police he had collected up to 30 pairs of women's underwear as part of his "experiment."

As part of his plea deal, Winnie must perform 30 hours of community service and pay a $500 fine, Chicago Tribune reports. He is also prohibited from going into Pratt's Wayne Woods.
