Naperville Park District Releases 2020 Budget Snapshot

Naperville Park District recently released the 2020 Budget Snapshot—an easy-to-read overview of the District’s finances. This colorful document highlights 2019 accomplishments and 2020 goals in just 4 pages and is available online at https://www.napervilleparks.org/about/finances/cafrbudgettreasurersreport and in print at District facilities.

Additionally, the public may view the District’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Statements at https://www.napervilleparks.org/about/finances/cafrbudgettreasurersreport.

The District’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report received the Certificate for Achievement in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the 2018 report and has received this award for reports each year since 1982. The Certificate of Achievement program includes review by independent finance professionals. According to the GFOA’s website, thhe certificate is given to governments that “go beyond the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles to prepare comprehensive annual financial reports that evidence the spirit of transparency and full disclosure.”
