Naperville Police Grant $36K In Funds To Youth Program
The funds will help homeless youth gain life skills and counseling to prevent drug misuse.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Police Department has repurposed $36,000 in seized drug money to go toward helping 360 Youth provide drug prevention education. "This opportunity aligns directly with our department's mission and values and allows us to provide much-needed funding to an organization that is working toward the common goal of preventing substance abuse," Naperville Police Chief Robert Marshall said in a news release.
360 Youth will use the funds from the partnership to support its Seven Challenges Program, which provides counseling, life skills coaching, and other services to homeless youth in Naperville.
"The grant will be able to help our housing staff engage residents who continue to struggle with substance abuse, which is quite common for young people experiencing homelessness," Debbie Roberston, executive director at 360 Youth said in a statement.
