Naperville Public Library Buildings To Reopen June 15
The libraries will reopen at limited capacity for browsing and checkouts only.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The Naperville Public Library will reopen its building's doors to the public on June 15 after months of being closed due to the new coronavirus shutdown. The libraries will open at limited capacity for browsing and checkout only, with safety restrictions in place.
The libraries are taking the following safety measures upon reopening:
- Patrons and staff required to wear masks
- Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. reserved for "vulnerable populations"
- Public seating, study rooms, children's toys, meeting rooms and in-person programming will remain closed for the time being
- Cleaning will be increased, especially in high-touch areas
With the reopening comes the suspension of curbside service. In a post on Facebook, library officials said curbside service "takes up a lot of building space" and a "large amount of staff time" and would make social distancing difficult upon reopening.
