Naperville Ranked Third Most Successful City in US
Poverty level, median household income and unemployment rates were analyzed to determine a ranking.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville is apparently the place to be in Illinois.
Just last month it was named the wealthiest city in the Midwest, now it’s been ranked as the third most successful city in the United States.
So, what makes it that way?

According to Zippia, a website that helps people make career decisions, poverty level, median household income and unemployment rates were analyzed to determine a ranking.
After collecting data for 289 cities with more than 100,000 people, each city was ranked from 1 to 289.

And placing No. 3 on that list is Naperville.
“If you measure success by awards and accolades, Naperville might just be No. 1 in that contest,” Zippia said. “It’s been voted one of the best places to live in the country, it has been named a best city to retire, and is hands down one of the safest cities in the country, according to USA Today.”
The median household income is over $109,000 and Naperville’s poverty ranking is the second lowest in the country, according to Zippia.
Rounding out the top three was Cary, North Carolina in second and Frisco, Texas in first.
