Naperville Shooting That Injured 2 Men Likely 'Not Random:' Cops
Police say they believe the shooting was not random.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Two men were hospitalized early Sunday after a shooting that took place in Naperville Saturday night. Police say the men were shot by a man they had "previously agreed to meet" in the 1200 block of South Route 59 just before midnight.
In a news release, Naperville police described the suspect as an "unknown male" who fired a weapon and struck both victims during their meeting.
The men were treated at a local hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Few details were available at press time about the shooting, which is currently under investigation. Police say that the preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was not random.
