Naperville Sports Weekly Celebrates Four Million YouTube Views
High School student-athletes get their very own ESPN moments with highlights, feature stories and player interviews

Earlier this month, Naperville Community Television reached an exciting milestone - four million views on its Sports YouTube channel: NCTV17Sports.
Since its infancy, the station’s high school sportscast, Naperville Sports Weekly, has been committed to giving area students their very own “ESPN” moments by producing game highlights, feature stories and player interviews. All six of the local high schools are represented on Naperville Sports Weekly with every boys’ and girls’ varsity sport covered. By placing content on YouTube, in addition to airing it within the show on Channel 17 and streaming live at NCTV17.com, the station provides viewers with another way to access the content on-demand.
“For a small community station like NCTV17 to reach this number is fantastic and it shows the power of social media and local content,” said Liz Spencer, NCTV17’s Executive Director, “NCTV17 is proud to be a leader in this arena.”
