Shots Fired In McDonald's Drug Deal, Teen Charged: Lisle Police
Police say the teen fired a gun at couple in an attempt to steal their drugs and money.

NAPERVILLE, IL --- A teen from unincorporated Naperville is under arrest after a drug deal in a McDonald's parking lot in Lisle turned violent Sunday. Laurynas Jonaitis, 19,of the 23 W 400 block of Moraine Ct., has been charged with armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance in connection with the incident.
Police say a man and his girlfriend were attempting to take part in a drug deal when Jonaitis allegedly pulled a gun and demanded their money, drugs, and cellphones. After a physical struggle, Jonaitis allegedly fired a single shot from a .38-caliber gun before fleeing the scene and heading southwest.
The bullet struck the driver's side door of the car, but no one was injured.

After an investigation, police identified Jonaitis as the suspect. He was taken into custody Tuesday after a traffic stop on Hobson near College Rd., according to police.
Jonaitis is currently in custody and is awaiting a court date.
