Naperville Unveils Online Dashboard For Electrical Customers

Residents can use the dashboard to view and track their energy usage.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville residents now have access to a new online dashboard to track their energy usage. The city announced Monday that the Empower dashboard can be used to monitor energy consumption, view multiple meters, and view trends such as how much energy is used when it's colder outside.

Naperville Electric Utility Director Lucy Podlesny said in a statement, ""Empower truly puts power in the hands of the customers we serve. Now, rather than waiting for a monthly bill, our customers can go online at any time and see how and when they've used electricity. With that knowledge, they can choose to make energy-saving changes, which is great for their home or business and for the environment."

Empower will be linked to residents' electric meters and can display information on a 24-hour delay. Customers who enroll will have access to up to three years of back data related to energy usage. Energy costs will currently not be available via Empower.
