Naperville Wine Festival 2018: Send Off Summer With A Toast

More than 250 wines will be available to sample at this annual two-day festival.

NAPERVILLE, IL — More than 250 different local and international wine samplings await oenophiles for the 16th Annual Naperville Wine Festival. The two-day event is expected to bring hundreds of wine lovers to Naper Settlement on August 24 and 25 for tastings, cooking demos, wine seminars, and live music.

The tasting list for Naperville Wine Festival affords an extensive variety of blends from wineries both small and large throughout the globe. Some of the midwestern representation includes Peterson Spirits and Fine Wines (the wine fest's sponsor), Oliver Winery, Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurants, and St. James Winery, and SQZ, known for its eclectic lemon-infused wines.

The selection also features an assortment of wines from Napa Valley and greater California, including EJ Gallo, Lagniappe Peak Vineyards, and Opolo Vineyards. If you're inclined toward more far-flung wine tasting adventures, you can sample French sips from Barton and Guestier, Italian wines from Zonin Winery, and more.

In between sips, festival goers can enjoy cuisine from nearly a dozen food vendors that will be on site to serve up something for every taste. The Melting Pot, Sixty Four, Rosebud Naperville, and Frönen are slated to be on hand.

Local artists will perform live tunes throughout the two-day festival The entertainment schedule features The Crickets, Scott Stevenson's Hurricane 88, Michael Mahler, Suzanne Sole, OMT, and more.
