Naperville Winter Ale Fest: Craft Beer, Hot Cider, Food Trucks
Bundle up and head outdoors in winter to more try than 150 beers, experimental recipes, hot hard cider, and more.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Festival season may be a long way from officially kicking off, but don't tell that to the organizers of the Naperville Winter Ale Fest. The outdoor festival, planned for Saturday, Feb. 24, at Frontier Park will include 150 craft beers, nearly a dozen food trucks, hot cider, and plenty of festivities to distract you from the chilly temps.
The event runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

- Illuminated Brew Works
- Lagunitas Brewing Company

- Virtue Cider
In between sips you can grab a bite from one of the food trucks stationed around Frontier Park, including Best Truckin' BBQ, Grumpy Gaucho, Happy Lobster, and Toasty Taco there's a lot to indulge in.
Guests will also have a chance to explore special exhibits. Try a unique beer concoction at the Infusion Tent, where you can sample brews infused with cinnamon, fresh fruit, and chocolate. The beer is flavored by machines called Randalls, which runs the beer through a variety of flavorful ingredients to craft special experimental blends.

While you're there, be on the lookout for the Secret Bombers Beer Bike. People will be pedaling these paleta-style bicycles around to offer samples of secret beers from some of the event's brewers.
You can still buy tickets for the Naperville Winter Ale Fest online. Tickets are $50 if you're planning to drink and $19 for designated drivers.
