Nautical Bowls Now Open In Naperville

The eatery, located at 8 W. Gartner Rd., serves up acai, mango, pitaya, chia pudding and other bowls made with plant-based ingredients.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Nautical Bowls hosted its grand opening Jan. 7 in Naperville, bringing the chain's plant-based fruit bowls to Gartner Road.

The menu at Nautical Bowls features a variety of bowls made with ingredients that are free from dairy, soy, gluten and refined sugars. Instead, the ingredients are all organic, according to the company's website.

Diners can choose one of the eatery's signature bowls, which include the anchor bowl, made with acai, banana, coconut flakes and cashew cacao butter, and the sunrise bowl, which is packed with pitaya, blue majik, granola, strawberries and a banana and drizzled in honey.

Nautical Bowls also offers the option to design your own bowl, starting with a base of acai, pitaya, mango, chia pudding, coconut or blue majik. Then, choose from a variety of toppings that range from pumpkin seeds and hemp seeds to goji berries and cacao nibs. Finally, diners can add their choice of fruit and "drizzles," including almond butter and honey.

Founded in Minnesota in 2018, Nautical Bowls now has dozens of locations throughout the United States, including upcoming openings in Batavia and Wheaton. The Naperville store is open Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
