New Pavilion At Knoch Knolls Park To Be Named For Frank J. Rus
The pavilion will be built on the upper grove of Knoch Knolls Park and will give visitors a place to picnic as they admire nature.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A pavilion set to be built at Knoch Knolls Park will be named for Frank J. Rus, who previously donated close to 40 acres to the park district.
Commissioners voted unanimously at the July 28 meeting to name the pavilion the Frank J. Rus Pavilion, following a $250,000 donation from the Frank J. Rus Trust to aid in funding the project.
The pavilion will be located in the park's upper grove area, just south of the DuPage River, and will be accessible from a nearby pedestrian and bicycle bridge. In addition to providing support for park district programming, the pavilion will be a peaceful spot for visitors to gather and have picnics, a news release said.
