New Trampoline Center Will Have Kids Jumping for Joy
Sky High Naperville offers about 50,000 square feet of trampoline space. The facility will hold its grand opening party Saturday.
Parents, if your children are literally bouncing off the walls and the furniture, now you have a place where you can take them to safely work that energy out of their system.
Your children may bounce, jump, flip and flop to their heart’s desire, working out all that extra kid energy at Sky High Naperville, a new business with about 50,000 square-feet (larger than a football field) of trampoline space.
Sky High is located near the Hotel Arista on Ferry Road, north of Interstate 88 at 2244 Corporate Lane. The facility includes one huge main jumping space, along with other areas for activities such dodge ball on trampolines, private parties and space for children ages 8 and younger to play, according to Sky High's owners.

The business will also be offering special aerobics classes on trampolines, which sounds a little like a Jane Fonda workout on steroids.
Sky High was founded in California six years ago and now has 11 locations in California, Texas, the Pacific Northwest and now in Naperville and the other Chicagoland location in Niles, said owner Jerry Raymond.

“Naperville is a terrific, family-oriented community,” Raymond said. “It’s a great place to raise kids. Naperville and the surrounding area is growing. It’s a terrific demographic and the perfect place for Sky High.”
Before opening the first Sky High, Raymond said he was a computer consultant and wanted to move into something that he could enjoy with his children. He said his whole family has fun together at Sky High.
At a time when many businesses are hesitant to expand or are just treading water, Raymond said Sky High chose to expand because the company had the opportunity and because it offers low-cost family entertainment, which is important everywhere.
Moving into the Chicago area and Illinois was always part of the plan, Raymond said.
“It’s just a fantastic area and a great place to raise a family,” he said. “I’ve always loved visiting here. Except for the winters.”
For parents who may be concerned about safety, this is not like a backyard trampoline. All of the trampoline frames and springs are covered by two inches of safety pads, according to Sky High. The walls are covered with trampolines and there are court supervisors monitoring visitors. Parents have a waiting area where they can relax, while also viewing their children on monitors.
Sky High has already opened, but the grand opening celebration will take place Saturday, with special pricing of $5 for two hours of trampoline time. Regular fees are $11 for an hour of time on the trampolines. Specials are often advertised on the Sky High Facebook page.
Raymond is excited about the new Naperville location, he said.
“I hope all the kids and their families come out for a good, wholesome time. We have something for everyone,” Raymond said. “… Sky High is a really fun place where the whole family can play together and I’m looking forward to sharing that excitement here in Naperville.”
